How to become an adventurer
Updated: Jul 9
I spoke to Shrewsbury School – from my flat in London via Zoom – as part of a great series of talks it's running on how to become an adventurer.
It's the first adventure travel talk I've given since lockdown began – rather a different experience to speaking to a room full of people, but just as fun! And there were some fantastic, insightful questions from the pupils.
Speaking to young people about adventure is key to getting them more engaged with the natural world, which is crucial not only for their physical and mental health, but also for the future of our green spaces.
If you'd like me to speak to your school, please do get in touch. And if you don't have the budget for this sort of thing, don't worry – I don't charge for talks to schools.
